Hello! My name is Nadia and I am an experienced teacher and tutor who has over 6 years of experience teaching classes from Nursery to Year 6, however much of my expertise rests in teaching children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. I am also trained in teaching children who speak English as a second language, have speech and language difficulties and those who have Autism. I am available to tutor online but can also offer lessons in person if you are based in West London. I cover Phonics (early reading), writing, comprehension, maths and science. I will be available to tutor between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday-Friday, including school holidays from Monday 31st October. I like to be creative when teaching. I incorporate games, chants/songs and videos as well as colourful presentations when teaching. I find that this helps students to remember what they have learned. I aim to simplify concepts and help students to consolidate the knowledge and skills they learn through practice. I issue homework based on the topic being taught and mark work with students to help them understand the learning process better. I am also able to adapt to pupils with varying needs.
