I have worked in a secondary school for the last three years as a history teacher and have worked with a range of age groups from age 11-16. Before I became a teacher I worked as a tutor, in which I tutored in History to primary aged students and English language. My skills that I have acquired from teaching has been very transferable when it comes to tutoring. For example I am very quick thinker which has made me a good problem solver. As well as this I hope I can bring my teaching experience to supervise children's academic education and help broaden their cultural horizons, improve their social and practical skills, as well as encourage their creative interests and self-awareness. I have a love for children and I believe that the children in my care would be able to benefit from lessons and activities which will compliment their individual learning style. I have keen interest in history as that was the subject I use to teach, as well as this I have really keen interests in the arts and love to get creative. I love baking and cooking healthy meals, and I'm able to make a meal out of anything. I have a really keen interest in yoga and having an active lifestyle something I like to instill in the children I look after.
