I am a motivated, fully qualified primary school teacher with a vast amount of experience across the full primary range. I have been teaching the English National Curriculum for 18 years. I am a fully licensed teacher and subscribed to the DBS Update service and fully vetted and cleared to work with children by the Independent Safeguarding Authority. I am described as an enthusiastic and caring professional. I build sound relationships with pupils and parents and believe in bringing fun and variety into my lessons. I treat every child as an individual and believe children should be encouraged to find independence in their learning. I monitor the child's progress and keep alert for any difficulties that arise. I enjoy stretching the gifted and talented pupils, as well as coaching those less able by offering practical and tactile activities. I teach Mathematics through a mastery approach to ensure building firm mathematical foundations, understanding and smooth progression from years 1 to 6. I am passionate about teaching Primary aged children and enjoying the new challenges that teaching online is bringing me.
