As part of my University degree, I spent a year in Salamanca, Spain where I worked as an English Language assistant, teaching students aged 11-16. This was an unforgettable experience, and whilst challenging at times, I found it to be extremely rewarding and fulfilling. As well as my experience teaching secondary school students, I also had the opportunity to conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions. I tutored a five year old, and an eleven year old girl twice a week outside of work hours. I really enjoyed adapting my teaching style and material to cater for each student. From big classes of teenagers, to one-on-one classes with younger children.
