I am a Maths graduate from the University of Leeds currently employed by “EducateFirst”, who was voted as one of the top 3 private tutors in West Yorkshire in 2019. The main reason I joined this company was the feeling of joy I felt helping others understand concepts whilst in secondary school studying for my own GCSE's. Working for this company, and at Dixons City Academy (as a Teaching Assistant) has provided me with expertise in teaching GCSE & A-level Maths - it has meant I have a DBS certification for teaching. On top of this, I work for "STEMKids", where I tutor primary school students at after school functions. All of my students have either achieved or surpassed their target grade. Having personally achieved a "Grade 9" in the new GCSE Maths curriculum, and an "A*" in the new A-level Maths syllabus, I know what it takes to reach the top marks - I make sure to share the resources which helped exponentiate my knowledge in Maths with my students.
