I try to motivate students and enhance their interest in the subject - as you’re more likely to do it if you love it! I am very enthusiastic about maths and biology, and these subjects are too often seen as very difficult and boring, so I intend to change that! After my gap year I am going on to do a maths and neuroscience degree and I am trying to get tutoring jobs to fund that degree. I have found through tutoring the younger years at my school that testing is one of the best ways to learn, as doing recall exercises strengthens memory and motivates you (it is also very satisfying when a question is right). I love my subjects and I wish to harbour this same love in others. I have no experience in tutoring younger children but I do have a younger sister who I have studied with for her year 6 SATs. Also, I myself am neurodivergent (I have ADHD and dyslexia) so I can get along with others who are also neurodivergent and enjoy spending time with those who have special needs. Thanks for reading :)
