I have been providing bespoke GCSE maths, science and Spanish tuition for the past 3 consecutive years, both in-person and online. I am skilled in recognising gaps and misconceptions in the student’s understanding of a topic and I personalise and tailor the sessions for the specific learning goals of the student. My sessions are interactive (as there is lots of research into interactive learning being the most successful method), fun (you’ve got to keep the students engaged!) and flexible (I always deliver tuition at a pace the student is comfortable with). Safeguarding is paramount when working with children - I am DBS checked and can provide references of past students. I’m a recent physics graduate from the University of Manchester who loves to teach, play sports (chess included of course) and read. I have observed from my tuition sessions that having been through the GCSE and A-Level curriculum, relatively, recently I can provide insights and tips into passing these tricky exam papers.
