My name is Emily and I am a student speech and language therapist in the last year of my Master's degree. As part of this degree, I have attended placements which involved working with children, young people and adults with speech and language difficulties. I have also been working part-time with a child with autism. I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language with Film where I obtained a 2:1. My previous experience includes working in a SEN secondary school as a speech and language therapy assistant where I gave therapy sessions to children with a range of special educational needs. These included autism, Down's Syndrome, cerebral palsy and children with expressive and receptive language delays. I absolutely love what I do and I am looking to offer my skills and knowledge to someone who needs it.
