I've always thrived in the face of a challenge and I’d love to bring this dedication, along with my relevant skills to any young person. My different roles within charities in London and two schools in India have played an essential part in my life as a tutor/teacher and it will greatly beneficial to a young person. As a mother of 3 and a grandmother of many grandchildren. My youngest L is now 4 years old, I have truly enjoyed the learning process and I still do. “Our children are our greatest teachers”. The charities I am involved with are Baytree Centre where I mentor a young lady, supporting her in reading, writing and gaining confidence. I am a volunteer at Battersea Befriending Network too. I was a Scout Leader while my children were growing up which involved us in travelling in UK and meeting twice a week. We had a Youth Group every week where the young people shared a meal and offered a welcoming, supportive and safe environment for their well-being as proven essential and beneficial. I finished a TEFL course online this year and I am hoping to make good use of my new learnt skills with a young person learning English as a second language, I am happy to work with anyone willing to learn. I completed my TA course in July.
