I have 2 years experience working with secondary school ages children as a cover coach at Kingsbury High School. This job required me to work with children with varying needs, including children with special education needs, which I revived training in. I covered all subjects, taking classes of up to 30 pupils from years 7-11. In September I will be completing a SCITT (Schools Direct) PGCE course in teaching English, I will be mainly based at Brentside High School. I have tutored several pupils up to GCSE level English language and literature for a tutoring agency. I have nine GCSE’s and 3 A- Levels in English literature, theatre studies and philosophy and ethics. I also have a 2:1 degree in theatre and performance studies. I am very familiar with the English GCSE AQA curriculum and I have a good understanding of most of the set texts. I am a capable, enthusiastic and reliable tutor offering both online and in person tutoring.
