My name is Carli. I am 27 from New York, just moved here to begin working full time as a Sustainability Consultant. In an effort to earn additional income, and continue practicing my passion for education, I am delighted to sign up to Care.com as a personal tutor. I just finished my MBA in Sustainability and International Development from the University of Exeter. Before that, after graduating from The Unversity of Buffalo with a BA in International Studies, I went on to work for a global youth education non-profit in NY called BBYO, where I designed local and global education and leadership curriculums. I can tutor in the following areas: English, Beginner Spanish, Creative Writing, Studio Art, Leadership Development/Communication/ Confidence, Public Speaking, Interview Prep. I have also run sessions on Yoga/Mindfulness, as well as helping young students organise community and humanitarian events. I like to think of myself as a kind and passionate individual. I have been told that I approach others with a good balance of kindness, and constructive support which allows the students I mentor to tackle challenges with confidence.
