Hello! My name is Annie and I'm currently a Master's student at City University. I've been tutoring children since I was 16 and love it. Personally, I think it is essential to foster a caring and patient approach when teaching. From experience, this method has the most success when trying to improve a student's confidence, allowing them to reach their full potential. I have a range of experience which has helped me to acquire the skills required to be a tutor. For example: - Successful in tutoring secondary school students in GCSE Latin, delegating homework tasks where appropriate whilst monitoring their progress. - Participated in the SHINE programme where I mentored primary school children to help develop their English language skills. - Worked as a volunteer tennis coach for children aged 3-5. - Mentored secondary school children as a Student Ambassador at my university, inspiring prospective students from under-represented groups to pursue Higher Education.
