I have worked previously as a tutor, working with 8-16 year olds in a variety of subjects, including Maths and English. I displayed high levels of resilience when working with younger students, continuing to support them even when they didn’t understand. I also showed administrative skills while creating lesson plans and resources, as well as being able to coordinate and lead sessions. I have also demonstrated customer service skills and patience as a volunteer at Forest Gate Library’s Time for Technology programme. This drastically improved my communication skills and patience, as well as giving me experience in working with people who could potentially be difficult or hard to communicate with. Finally, I myself received A*s in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths and English Language, and As in my remaining 5 subjects. I am currently in y13 and am predicted 3 As.
