As a joint honours student studying a History and English university degree scheme, I have strong experience in these subjects, including experience teaching and tutoring English language and literature. I have taught students English in a classroom setting at ages 6-16, and I have also done one-on-one tutoring for ages 11-16. I am open to tutoring a broader age range as well. I also have experience working as an educator in training at the Pacific Science Center summer camp program, where I built relationships with the kids, and reinforced what they were taught. In both of these positions I gained useful practical experience in tutoring and managing children. While in secondary school, I studied maths at a university level, gaining a certified qualification. As an older sibling I have years of experience taking care of children and helping them with homework in a non-professional setting as well.
