Zindy was recruited specifically for a 24 hour live in package for a client living with Parkinson's disease. She was introduced to the client and was given a full handover from another member of staff who had lived in the property for the previous three weeks with no problems or issues. Zindy was provided food and a fully furnished bedroom for the duration of her stay. Her only responsibility was the client's personal care as required throughout the day. This package was deemed to be extremely low maintenance.
Zindy left the property with no advanced warning after less than 24 hours, giving no reason or explanation for doing so other than the client had required one instance of personal care during the night. Zindy was asked to continue with the service for an additional 24 hours whilst additional support was sourced for the client. This request was flatly declined and Zindy immediately left the property, showing no concern for the well-being of the client.
