I have work experience within a special needs school. I worked in a class room of 5-8 year olds with varying needs. I was involved in feeding them and playing with them. I helped in certain therapies and played a lot with them too! I have worked as a carer for an autistic man with autism and CHARGE syndrome (also deafblind) for the past 6 months. We have mainly worked on life skills such as cooking and catching public transport. I volunteered in a music centre targeted towards young people with special needs - I supported them with emotional and practical needs over the course of a week.
