I've been working for the past 14 years as a one to one worker with a child with autism. This includes working with him in his home in his therapy room helping to improve his communication and social skills as well as going out into the community doing activities such as swimming, bowling and attending a day centre where we mix with the other clients and do various craft activities. I've also supported another child with autism and worked in schools, nurseries and a special needs school. I love this work and take great pleasure in supporting children and young adults with special needs and helping them in small ways to reach their potential. I'm enthusiastic, trustworthy, punctual and empathetic.
