Through the 20 years I have worked in both care and nursing homes for the elderly, i have worked in a school/home for children and young adults with various disabilities eg wheelchair bound, deaf and dumb, autistic, ADHD, verbal and non verbal, eating disorders etc peg feeds, suction and oxygen users, complex care of spinal injuries, head injuries, moving and handling bedside nursing the bedbound. I have supported service users to do their shopping, running errands, holidays, cooking, housekeeping and other support that they needed to make their lives as fulfilling as they possibly could.
