I am a mother to a 8 year old boy who has medical and additional needs but he is in full time education for 80% of the term the 20% hes out of school attending hospital appointments. I have always been a fulltime nanny or I worked in nurseries when I left college, but due to my sons on going medical needs I had to quit the childcare side. At the moment I am working fulltime nights in a supermarket and I feel I am wasting all my knowledge and support an time that I could be giving to a child to develop and grow. I find that part of childcare the most rewarding when I know I have supported and understood a child and seen so much achievement. At the moment I am not happy and finding a job back into care with children would just change my whole mood perspective by doing something i enjoy and want to do.
