I have three children with different expressions of autism, all of whom are now adults. I am trained to, and have delivered NAS Earlybird programme (a course for the parents of newly diagnosed children). I am trained to and have delivered 'A Day in My Shoes' programme (a resilience course for parents of special needs children). I am a writer and public speaker (special interest, autism). I am trained in dementia care and qualified to train others in Dementia Care. I have over 20 years experience as a carer, both personally and professionally.
