Worked in childcare for 5 years in a professional capacity for a wide range of ages as well as behavioral and developmental disorders. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Family as well as Developmental Psychology from the University of North Carolina and have since worked with both children and adults on the autism spectrum. Before moving to the UK 6 months ago I was a live-in nanny for 2 years as well, to a family with two children now age 11 and 13. I strongly believe that childcare is not just about supporting the children but also the family in any capacity that is needed to help support the family at large.
