My son was diagnosed from an early age with Aspergers Syndrome so I have a lot of experience caring for a child that is on the Autistic spectrum and learning more as he has grown into an adult and how best to support him. I have also worked as a teaching assistant supporting children in their class and at home that have been given a statement of special needs. I have studied for Makaton qualifications therefore I can communicate using this with non verbal children and adults x
