I have worked in care for individuals with special needs at Waltham Forest Day Services, where we support clients with disabilities ranging from mild to profound. I have gained hands-on experience and developed a strong foundation in this field. I am excited to continue my career with the flexibility to pursue nursing studies while helping other families. In my role, I have acquired skills such as key working (support plans), providing personal care, assisting with feeding (including PEG feeding), and supporting clients through activities like sensory engagement and community involvement.
