I am a bubbly young person who is starting a Social Work course in September. I have a nine year old cousin who has Dravet syndrome. I help with his daily tasks (toileting, playing games, learning, supervising him in activities etc). I have worked with the County Council doing youth work. I have assisted with events and clubs. I have worked with young people who have social and emotional difficulties. My brother has SEBD (social, emotional, behavioural difficulties). My experience is mainly from home but I have a very good understanding and I am keen to learn. My experience with mental health is personal. I have suffered with anxiety for 4 years and I am currently in the process of getting CBT. I have friends who suffer with depression, social anxiety, agoraphobia and anxiety.
