I am currently going into my third year at University, studying Primary Education. This summer I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work at a special needs camp in America called Summit Camp. I was a counsellor here for children with ADHD, ASD, Autism as well as children with developmental disabilities. It was an amazing experience and I got to know the children’s needs very well. I formed very good bonds with all of the children that I worked with and have developed a passion for working with children with special needs.
