Since the age of 15 I have been a coach and support carer to Special Olympics Eastbourne, volunteering with a variety of ages and special needs. My uncle has down syndrome and autism so I have grown up around people with special needs. I find this work so rewarding and love to see the things people achieve. I also have experience volunteering for SasBah which is an evening group for all ages and special needs to take part in different activities such as puzzles, games, cake decorating, films etc. I want to make a change in someone’s life and give them opportunities they wouldn’t normally be able to do and take them to do things they’ve never done before!
