I am a very experianced individual with 30 + years of working with adults that have special needs,ranging from mild to severe. I hold a nvq certificate in health and social care level 3.I am qualified in the use of "makaton" signing. I enjoy encouraging individuals to develope as i beleive in enablement not dis-ablement.Supporting individuals to pursue activities of their choice,accessing the community encouraging them to be more independent and able to express themselves. Being quite creative myself i have "in the past" made a sensory room.This i found to be very positive as the more severly disabled were able to express themselves.
