I have a good background in supporting individuals to develop their interests and skills. I have worked in social care with people and children with learning disabilities in their own homes as well as in a community (working 121). I feel I can apply the various skills, which I have learned to be enthusiastic and dedicated person. I am able to deliver support appropriate to people’s individual needs. I am flexible, with good sense of humour, excellent motivation and communication skills, both verbal and written. I have ability to work in partnership with other agencies and professionals such as: social workers, doctors, parents, speech music and aroma therapist. With my previous employer I have competed augmentative systems such as Makaton and PECS, NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (Children and young people), Autism Awareness training, Health and Safety training, First Aid, Food & Hygiene, Manual and handling, Timian, Maybo, PEG tube, Oxygen and monitoring saturation machine,Safeguarding children and CQC Safeguarding adults training.
