I've been working in care on/off since 2012, some long placements in elderly care, PD care, Autism care. I've also worked on a domiciliary care unit for two and a half years. And worked as a pallative carer for 18 months (through the pandemic.) While working with all ages, ability and background of people, I learned humility, gratitude and respect for my health. I also have a great belief that even If I cannot 'heal' someone I can facilitate a better life by being present and attentive. I went on to start a LD Nursing Degree. I've completed my first year.
