My names Kerby, I've worked in care for the past four years and done ten years in Retail management, I didn't believe I would ever find something I enjoyed more the Retail until I went into care. I work for a care agencies at the moment but the hours are all over the place and I'm never with the same person/people. For me I believe care is at its best when both sides have gotten to know each other, both sides are much more comfortable but sadly most care agencies don't do this. When talking to people I care for they all say the same thing (a new face again) which is uncomfortable for both sides. That's why I am now looking to remove myself from care agencies and become a private care worker. I work part time with a family at the moment but I'm looking to make up some hours.
