Hi my name is Katie. I currently work within a primary school setting as a intervention LSA. I have worked as a 1:1 TA for the previous 5 years. I have worked with a wide range of children with complex needs and disabilities including Autism, Down’s syndrome,emotional & behavioural needs, selective mutism alongside others. Within my current role I am responsible for planning,implementing & delivering a variety of specialist speech and language interventions to targeted children in need of extra support. I also run my own Attention Autism group, as well as supporting the Senco within my setting to run a daily nurture group for children with higher needs funding. I am kind, caring, patient and extremely passionate about supporting children with complex needs to reach their full potential. I have always built and maintained strong partnerships with the parents and families of the children I have worked with. I am currently looking for a part time role within respite care & would love the opportunity to work with your child & family !
