I have mentored teenagers with chronic pain syndromes. I also have experience with people with special needs and medical conditions through my university course as I am a medical student. Aside from this, I have a lot of experience working with children of a variety of ages. I currently work at the youth centre with 6 to 9-year-olds. I have previously worked in a preschool (2-5 year olds), as a classroom assistant (4 to 6-year-olds) and as a mentor to year seven students (11-year-olds). I also spent four months in Ghana, where I worked in an orphanage and taught in a school. I have a DBS check, level three qualification in childcare (NCFE), and basic life support training through my degree.
