I have worked exclusively for the last 2 years with a young child (now 5 years old) who has an acquired brain injury, registered blind, has epilepsy, non verbal and a wheel chair user. It has been amazing to be part of their progress! Before this I worked in a special needs childrens home which cared for young people from 8-16. My work experience has given me lots of knowledge, experience and many transferable skills. I love to be creative with ideas and activities. I am passionate about encouraging children to reach their best possible outcomes and enjoy the sense of purpose that working with children with additional needs gives. I would definitely consider myself to be a caring individual who just wants to make a difference, I am patient, calm and punctual.
