I am a care assistant with over 3 years experience in the care industry, being a carer has given me the opportunity to learn from different team nurses and doctors who have contributed to my skills and growth as a carer I have had the opportunity to work primarily with adults who also have had signs of dementia, this is particularly interesting as I have had to learn how to be patient with them while listening to them talk about old and important memories to them I have had formal trainings to aid my practical experience, I have the NVQ level 2 certification in care and I keep myself abreast of things by taking other online courses I have great communication skills and learning skills which enabled me to communicate effectively and listen attentively to the service users to understand their needs and be able to deliver on same while keeping my superiors abreast of issues and any adverse reports My greatest asset would be my caring, compassionate, and flexible approach to things and I look forward to bringing my skills to bear while working with you Thank you
