I have been working in care work since a teenager and have found myself with many years and multitude of skills under my belt. I have previous worked with a little girl with epilepsy, developmental delay, non verbal, as well as with an ASD diagnosis for 3.5 years. I now work freelance with a non verbal 7 year old with many needs part time for the last year. I am available for one-off work and respite stints. I have epilepsy training, paediatric emergency first aid and makaton levels 1-4 training in qualifications. I try to implement life skills and getting out and about within the community to all relationships with my clients, promoting a no-fear attitude to the everyday. I take great love from my work with different ranges of personalities as well as needs. I worked with the elderly as an assistant carer in a small nursing home for 4 years as a teenager. I was brought up with a brother with an ADD diagnosis and cousin with an ASD diagnosis (who are both adults now) and seen transitions and hurdles and day to day living from the inside of the family unit.
