Currently on Maternity leave. Looking for families who require overnight respite or after school care in a home from home family environment commencing next year (2024). I am passionate about working with children with additional needs. I have previously worked as a nanny, a TA in an SEN School, for the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, and then as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner. I also work as a PA with families privately on a regular basis, providing after school and overnight respite care. I have a BSc Human Communication Science degree. I've completed courses in first aid, British Sign Language level 2, Makaton, PECS, Rebound Therapy, and Team Teach. I have experience working with young people with Epilepsy, Type 1 Diabetes, gastrostomy feeding, Asthma, and allergies. I'm able to help families who require special needs care, overnight respite and school holiday care in Horsham or nearby areas. I offer overnight respite care in my home. I would love to help!
