I am currently a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at an all special needs school in Ipswich, for key stage 1. I specialise in Makaton and am training to become a regional Makaton tutor. I work with children that have a variety of learning difficulties, disabilities including wheelchair assisting and rare disorders. I have worked in Special needs education for 3 years now and before that worked in other care roles for a further 3 years. I am looking for a family I can help during the holidays, I have my own method of transport and a clean drivers licence. I can offer educational and sensory activities, am willing to help with house chores where needed, and can be flexible with hours of work during the school holidays.
