I worked with adults with disabilities for 6 months before I moved to Manchester. I have experience with peg/gastro feeds, oxygen, and suction. I'm also first aid trained, epilepsy trained, medication, food hygiene, safe guarding and many more. Whilst looking after adults with disabilities, I have learned a lot of new things and it was a very person centred job. We went to the pub for lunch, down the beach, shopping, cinema, bowling, swimming and everything else that the student would like to do. I also assisted with feeds and toileting/pad changes.
