When I am not at university I work at a charity for children with additional needs. My passion is working with young individuals, and I have a particular interest in children with special needs. Throughout my position, I assist young people in learning new skills through different types of play. The job is very much teamwork based, everyone helps one another if we are facing any difficulties, therefore, I have learnt the best way to work coherently in a team. I understood both the theory and practise of looking after children with additional needs . My passion has aided my studies at the University of Portsmouth where I am studying Early Childhood Studies with Psychology. I would prefer a flexible position due to my ever changing workload and timetable.
