Hi I'm Lizzie, 26 years old. I've worked on and off in this sector for years, starting when I was in collage volunteering in a special needs school, private carer for a few years then I moved to working for Mencap where I worked in multiple houses with lots of people with a variety of support needs for a few years. I always end up coming back to this line of work because it's natural to me and I enjoy every aspect of it. In regards to care experience I've worked with so many people with varying needs in care from just someone to walk to the park with to full time 24/7 support. I love being with people and support work allows that! I'm a creative, caring, bubbly person who's not afraid to challenge myself in this life. I've loved travelling and living in other countries, other interests are reading, yoga, meditation, mushroom cultivation/foraging, creating art (dried flower arrangements especially), gardening, being with friends, cooking, hiking and swimming!
