I am currently working as an LSA. The main focus of this role is to provide emotional and academic support for pupils with special educational needs either being on the SEND register or having EHCP (education health care plans) I worked at a children’s residential home supporting children with learning disabilities, mental health, emotional behaviour disorders and challenging behaviours. The main focus of this job was to ensuring that I am following a child centred approach and providing a high quality of care for the young people that I am supporting.
