I previously worked in a special needs school ( Victoria Education Centre) before having children. I was a teaching assistant there and also did sessional one to one work for a young lady with Autism. I often worked in the residential unit upstairs and helped out weekly at the youth club and worked at the Holiday clubs every summer. Before that I worked for the YMCA playschemes, I volunteered there from the age of 12 and stayed till I was 19. I have alot of experience with children/ young adults with various disabilities and needs and have always enjoyed working in this field. I'm currently just looking for a few hours a week until my 2 year old goes to playschool and then hoping to increase my hours once she's older. I have a full driving license and my car would be big enough for a fold away wheelchair. I'm currently 32 years old with a 2 and 5 year old so would need to be flexible.
