I work for a charity called KIDS which I care for disabled children and young adults. I have worked with this company since April 2014. I work with ages between 4-24. I work with 5 families that have all different needs. Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, cerebral palsy, global delay, Down syndrome, genetic disorder. Day to day basis is completely different, I am out in the community to help my young adults gain independence but also do nice things with them. I work in homes where I feed/ bath/ use hoist/ use lifts/ PEG feed/ medication/ manual handling/ shopping/ cooking.
