I have worked as a support worker for people with learning disabilities for the past 9 years. I currently am an activity support worker at a day centre. I have a Level 3 BTEC Diploma in health and social care and a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism. Of course no matter how much training a person has, every person with a learning disability is different - the most important thing to ever do is learn about people and provide person centred care :) I am a driver with my own vehicle. I have business insurance so I’m happy to support people to access the community I am able to provide a current DBS (Aug 2024) I work 8-4:30 in the week so I am mainly available at weekends
