I am an experienced childminder/carer living in Leith and I am able to travel to the surrounding areas. I have several years of experience caring for children and adults of all ages and abilities and enjoy thinking up new and creative activities to suit their individual needs. I have just completed my qualification as an Art Psychotherapist and my placements have involved working with both children & adults who have additional support needs. In 2019, I cared for a young individual with complex physical & cognitive disabilities and stayed in this role for two years. This required full personal assistance, supporting her with school learning during school closures and thinking up activities to add variety to the week. Additionally, I am registered with Disclosure Scotland for working with children and vulnerable adults. Having worked as a carer in a nursing home for several years, I have vast experience of caring for older people. I have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus due to my previous university placement within the NHS. I have a full driver's licence and am happy to travel, although I currently do not have my own car. I am fully available during the day and evenings, other than Sundays when I work in a ceramic's studio.
