I have provided expert care for patients with for example, a severe spinal injury, that rendered him paralysed from the neck down. The patient also had a Phrenic Nerve Pacer and could not breathe independently. During the 8 years that I cared for the patient, I gained invaluable experience of using a Ventilator, Stats Monitor, Trans-Abdominal Stomach Catheter and both changing and managing a Tracheostomy. I have also cared for patients who have suffered Strokes and who have Eating Disorders.
