My experience within special needs is that I have been working as a support worker for adults with disabilities for the past 3 years. I am also currently studying Learning Disability Nursing at University, that being within my 2nd year now. My first care role was within special needs and this has grown to be my interest for a life long career, hence the further education at University. I am able to provide you with a service that is person-centred, fun, enjoyable and individualised for the service user. I am a bubbly individual who will always find a way to make tasks enjoyable and aim to maximise the most out of a service users day, ensuring that I can build a therapeutic relationship.
