I have obtained a level 3 extended diploma in animal management at a grade merit- distinction. I have previously worked as an assistant at a doggy day care as well as volunteering at a horse sanctuary for 5 months as part of my diploma. My course allowed me to handle a variety of species within the colleges animal unit from larger mammals to reptiles and birds. The course also gave me background knowledge on subjects such as animal first aid, behaviour and welfare.
