I have owned a range of animals all my adult life, I brought my 5 children up around dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, furry animals like Guinea pigs, degus, ferrets,hamsters and mice so all my experience is through life experience of owning our pets. Myself and my husband currently own a dog, a cat koi carp, tortoise, frogs and two spiders.
