I am Vaishnavi, a 25 year old studying Masters at Royal Holloway University of London. I am currently staying in Egham. With deep rooted love for animals, I have worked for animal ENGO back home. I come from India and you can see a lots of stray animals. I personally looked after the strays in my locality by feeding them and taking them to the vets if necessary. I am confident that my transferable skills, unwavering commitment and willingness to learn will make me good volunteer. Though I have no direct experience working as an animal caretaker, I posses several relevant skills that are necessary for this role. This include excellent communication skills, an empathetic nature, a keen eye for detail and an ability to work both independent and as a part time. In my spare time, I have volunteered a local shelter, by socialising with a variety of animals, supporting the shelter. This has helped me a lot understanding the animal behaviour, handling techniques and the importance of maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Moreover I am committed to the continuous growth. I am open to start for a trial period if necessary.
